Hello, I am Chloe. You can contact me if you need an ’emergency’ or ‘one-off cover’ carer, PA or other types of assistant (as a temp carer/PA), for yourself or your partner, adult children, siblings, parents, underage children, or if you (or your loved ones) need a part-time cover on an ‘ongoing, occasional, ad hoc’ basis, either short or medium-term (a few days/weeks, a month or more), within ca. 130-mile radius from my location.

In fact, anywhere in the UK and abroad can be possible, as I am a mobile temp carer/PA.

1) ABOUT MY SERVICES

I am already a working professional running my own business, so a temporary or emergency cover such as an evening, a weekend, a few hours/days/nights or a week, a fortnight or a month or two is mainly what I offer, either at a short notice or arranged more in advance. Also, a ‘little long temporary’ cover for some weeks or 2, 3 or 4 months or more (full or part-time) could be arranged. I could also consider long-term placements (6 months, a year+ etc.)

For your ca. 3-day/1-week + carer needs or for your trips abroad, any UK location can be OK, since I am a mobile temp PA carer/assistant. (Accommodation/travel costs apply if far from my location.)

As a self-employed professional, I have a carer/babysitter insurance, DBS and full driving licence with my own cars. (I’ve a car in London and a car in Yorkshire.)

3) ABOUT ME

In case you wonder whether I am a woman who is fit and strong enough to lift you up to assist you with hoist/dressing/washing and have the strength to push you on a wheelchair at home or help with your luggage during day outs/travels abroad:

A) I cycle 40+ miles a day; more than from Sheffield to Manchester or from London to Reading.

B) I work out 5-7 hours a day (fitness exercise/sports); as in what professional athletes do.

C) I am tall; about Eleanor Roosevelt and Michelle Obama’s height.

I am a Yorkshire and London-based woman, lifelong non-smoker and tea total, UK passport and driving licence (full manual/automatic, no driving penalty points ever) with my own car (2-3 wheelchairs + 5 people possible), DBS and references, carer/nanny public liability insurance, settled with my partner for decades, a self-employed professional (hospitality/creative/care industries) speaking English with basic knowledge of some European languages, very fit/active into healthy lifestyle (taking up work with 4am start/16-hour shifts, fitness training etc.), reliable/punctual and operationally efficient in client delivery, several qualifications to postgraduate research/doctorate level.

My vehicle: I can have a total of 8 people at a time in my car. It can carry a few wheelchairs.

In addition to caring/PA: I could help you as an assistant for your other activities; for example, with your academic work, artistic pursuits and swimming/physio exercises. (I teach/coach cello/violin/piano and swimming/fitness.) I can travel with you in the UK and abroad to help you during your business/study trips and holidays. I can also help with your cat litter/feeding, dog walking, grocery shopping and cleaning/tidying up the house.

4) MY EXPERIENCE

(Caring for adults and children with disabilities/SEN): I have cared for adults and children including with SEN, physical/challenging conditions/disabilities, sight impairments, post-surgery care needs and wheelchair users. I currently have clients including those needing sleeping/waking night care service and those requiring carers to travel with them internationally to help while on trips abroad.

I have also done babysitting/housesitting and pet sitting. (I have childminded children from infants to 15 years of age. I am a lifelong cat owner, and have also walked dogs for other people. I have stayed overnight for other people at their home while they were away to housesit for their home’s security and looking after plants.)

5) YOUR/MY LOCATIONS (YORKSHIRE/NORTH, LONDON/SOUTH, UK AND TRIPS ABROAD TO OTHER COUNTRIES POSSIBLE)

(For the South, please see my London ad for the locations that I cover. In fact, if you need a temp carer/PA for ca. 3 days/1 week +, or for trips abroad, you can be anywhere in UKI – even Plymouth, Cardiff, Scottish Highlands, Belfast, Dublin etc.)

In Yorkshire/North, I am near Campsall (Doncaster, South Yorkshire).

In theory, I could drive even over 2-hour driving one-way from near Campsall to come to your home. I can often work around my clients’ needs (with location/timing) as I can be flexible.

You can be based anywhere within ca. 130-mile radius from Campsall. (Doncaster, Sheffield, Leeds, York, Hull, Lincoln, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Stoke, Manchester, Liverpool, Blackburn, Middlesbrough, Durham. etc.)

Occasionally, I can consider afar such as Birmingham, Newcastle etc., or for a 3-day + hire, anywhere in the UK.

If you need a temp carer/PA abroad on trips to other countries (holidays, family events, work/study etc.), I can be available.

6) MY RATES AS A CARER/PA

My rates start at £15.00 per hour. For long-distance driving from Campsall, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, or for trips abroad, or for daily, nightly, weekly or monthly rates, or to discuss your personal needs/situation, please contact me.

For Yorkshire and the North, the following minimum hours’ charges may apply depending on your distance from me (near Campsall):

Over 5 miles distance: Minimum 2 hours’ service chargeable.

Over 10 miles distance: Minimum 3 hours’ service chargeable.

Over 15 miles distance: Minimum 4 hours’ service chargeable.

Distances of over 20 miles from near Campsall may incur travel costs payable at 0.30p per mile (less than HMRC mileage rate up to 10,000 miles) to cover my return travel. For example, if you are in Manchester (64 miles from Campsall, 128 miles return travel), £38.40 travel cost may be chargeable.

8) EXAMPLES OF YOU NEEDING ME AS YOUR TEMPORARY, EMERGENCY OR AD HOC COVER CARER/PA ASSISTANT

Here are examples of what you may be in need of that I could do to help you:

A) You already have a carer/PA or your partner, parents, children or family help you, but they are ill and can’t do tomorrow/next week, so you need a last-minute, temp carer for a few nights (including staying overnight/24-hour care) to come to your home to assist you.

B) You booked a holiday abroad for you and your carer/PA, but your carer suddenly had to fly away (due to family in hospital etc.), or your usual PA is on a 2-week annual leave agreed in advance, and you now have to travel abroad for something urgent (for family emergency etc.) at a short notice, either for a few nights/few weeks or even a month or more, leaving you needing an emergency carer or assistant to travel with you to another country.

(Yes, I could be away that long, for a few weeks or even a month or two.)

C) You usually stay home without a carer, but just tomorrow night, or for a few days this/next week, you have to be out the whole morning or from 6pm till after midnight (because of a job interview, a date, a concert/event, an important meeting, a family/friends do etc.), so you need a one-off carer to help you while you are out and about.

D) You suddenly have to travel one-off to Scotland for a weekend, or you have to fly out of the UK on business unexpectedly for a week, so you need someone to come with you to assist you on urgent or unexpected trips away from home somewhere in the UK or abroad. Or you feel you could just about manage travelling alone, but you would like a minder/guard for protection as you are a vulnerable individual due to your health conditions/disability or due to ‘higher risk’ destinations.

E) You usually always work from home and manage your independent living yourself, but there are changes occurring in that starting next week or next month, you could have to be out for events/meetings for the whole morning or afternoon once or twice a week, or you could need to travel abroad for a couple of nights once or twice a month, so you now need to find a carer or PA on an on-going yet occasional, ad-hoc basis.
